Very attractive and uniqueJul 12, 2011

I have become somewhat of a collector of these watches, being a retired Army NCO. This model is quite attractive. The black face has a unique, woven-like design and the numbers are large and easy to read. The 24-hr numbers are slightly recessed in the outer ring of the face, which adds to the attractiveness and versatility of the watch. The sweep, second hand is highlighted in yellow, which makes it easy to see. Like other, similar Army watches, the date window is a bit too small and is difficult to read. The good thing is that it is surrounded on three sides by small red arrows which highlight the view somewhat. The desert camouflaged strap is very well made of leather and very thick canvas, which may take some time to break in, but which will no doubt add to its durability. Lastly, the stem has a yellow, jewel-like piece on the end. This is a good purchase for a great price.
